Veiled

Gaze going toward the veiled,
Unsure of what is behind...
Shall I try to peer through?

Or, resolve to the notion, idea,
Perhaps, maybe just perhaps,
I should not know...

If I knew,
Would my path still follow
The same course?
For I am now, who I am,
But not yet who I will be....

The dark, the veiled, can be
Unnerving, rattling, a tense presence,
Shaking us like fragile leaves
Clinging to late autumn branches,
Wuthering in the chill of the breeze...

There are times,
We prepare the hardest for dark,
Torches to light the way at the ready,
Though, non the less, it is not to be lit
All we did dissolves...

Despite, we most often find footing,
Even if it may be rickety at the go...
Where once autumn leaves trembled,
Buds bloom in the warming sun...

I can gaze on the veil
Understanding my path,
Is to be what it will...
The hand of grace shall guide...
Tibi Confides emblazoned in my heart...

Unknown is to always be…

fear & uncertainty, natural
If I, or you, do not push on in spite,
we could miss
moments, times, events,
Ours to live…
